Potholes

{We could use your help in identifying some of the areas and roads that do have potholes. Please include, the Area, Road, and landmark that we could use to locate them. Also use sizes S, M, and L to denote how big of a hole it is, so that we can mobilize filling material accordingly}

Potholes Identified:

1. Cenataph Road, Opposite to Coffee Day, M

    

2. Cenataph Road, In front of Ernst and Young Office, M

3. Sardar Patel Road, Quite close to Raj Bhavan, M

4. Sardar Patel Road, Madya Kailash (Close to the intersection of Tidel Park and Sardar Patel Road) about 100 m before IIT, M

5. Dead Center of Kodambakkam Bridge, M

6. Gemini Junction, (Left Turn after Park Hotel), L

7. Mandavali the bus termimus to adyar music college stretch

8. Road between tidel park and until PTC quarters or further.. this road is under construction or awaits construction but may be fixing these holes will help until they are rebuilt a few months later.

9. Road leading into kannagi nagar or PTC quarters from the main IT highway. Kannagi nagar is where poor people who were rehabilitated due to tsunami and also due to slum clearance live.  Not sure whether the stretch until reaching kannagi nagar housing quarters can be fixed, its more a mud road than a real road, and may be we cant put the iFixed marks even if we fix.

10. There is a large pot hole on poonammalee high road near the Aminjikarai market. and down the same road after the signal of Pachaiappas College. Both these holes are due to water pipe leakages underground. They are very dangerous as traffic is very heavy and fast. The authories have filled it up many times but these are temporary measures and the holes keep becomming bigger and more dangerous

11. Coming down from Kodambakkam bridge when you take the road towards Nungambakkam, 10 meters ahead of a women's hostel there is one candidate to be fixed.

13. The Stretch startin from MCTM school, the left turn towards TTK Road ending in the Signal.

14. Kodambakkam High Road, from Komala's Restaurant till the Josier St Junction

15. RK Mutt road, near BSNL office.

16. Thiruvottriyur High Road,Near theradi,Thiruvottriyur,Chennai - 60019. 

17. Valayapathi road offers a quick hassle free connection from Mogappair to Poonamalee high road bypassing the Thirumangalam junction. The stretch from TNSC bank to the PH road junction is a motorist's nightmare.  Length of the bad stretch from TNSC bank junction, straight down - 500 m - L

18. VIRUGAMBAKAM - KALI AMMAN KOVIL STREET ( road that connects virgambakam market with koyambedu bus stand ) is completely damaged near SAI NAGAR bus stop since Sep 2005 rains.

19. There are large and DANGEROUS pot holes in ARCOT ROAD along the stretch from ALWARTHIRUNAGAR to VALASARAWAKKAM

    20. There is one pothole stretch in a small branch off periyar road (near t-nagar, nungambakkam). about 10 to 15 meters of several little potholes.
